Well,I think Josh – Apple Tree is a good thing 😉 He’s by Crafty Sentiments Designs and he’s been coloured with Copic Ciao Markers.Some white gel pen highlights have been added and his wellies have been given a coating of 3D Crystal Lacquer.

Here’s a shot of the shine :

 

I nearly picked some different papers but when sifting through I came across these.Just had to be!

A strip of jute/hessian ribbon,some wooden leaves and,for good measure,a wooden ladybird embellish the card in keeping with the country feel I was trying to create.I thought the sentiment quite fitting.Judging by the plaster on his cheek I’m guessing it covers an injury from another escapade.Figuring this little guy lives life to the full!

As soon as I saw this owl image in the Teacher’s Pet set by Deedee’s Digis I just knew I had to make some kind of book style card.The idea for this one came from here at Card-Making-Magic.Of course,this pre-coloured image is one of a few images you get (in different formats),along with a couple of papers and several sentiments!Great value 🙂 I added a bookplate die cut containing one of the sentiments attached with eyelets,a baker’s twine tied paperclip and an extra large eyelet.This is for one of my DS2’s teachers and it’s his last year at Primary School before he starts ‘Big School’ in September.It’s also kind of an end of an era for us as he’s our youngest.He has 2 part time teachers and a teaching assistant.So I guess I will using the rest of this fab kit to make a couple more of these style cards 😉

Well,I think this is something sweet in lots of ways 🙂 This is Strawberry Delight by Crafty Sentiments Designs all coloured up with Copic Ciao Markers.A few white gel pen highlights have been added too.I’ve thrown in lots of stitch effect dies along with this fabulous strawberry die,a new buy of mine 🙂 The sentiment is a bargain stamp I’ve had for a while and suited the theme and image perfectly.The centres of all the flowers have had micro beads adhered in place.I’ve never used them before (even tho’ I’ve had them ages) and I think I got most of them everywhere except on the card – LOL 😛

Aren’t these just the most cute fun dinosaurs you could wish to meet?!They’re from the Tiny Dinos set by Doodle Pantry.As with all their sets you get so much in them 😀 Here I’ve printed the dinos onto some of the patterned papers included with them.I’d already printed them onto card as I wanted extra stability once they were fussy cut.Their eyes and the spots on the stegosaurus have been paper pieced.The spots have even been done so with spotty paper  😉 I die cut some hills for them to play on and the sentiment,which is also included,has been cut with a stitching edged die.A couple of eyelets have been used to embellish.The dinos and the sentiment have been popped up on foam tape for dimension.Yeah,I know I’ve backed the scene with white rather than a sky blue.That’s for more contrast against the kraft and the card the sentiment is mounted on 🙂
