‘Owl’ Spot Your Hat!

It’s my turn to host at Willow Sketchie Challenge this week and this is my sketch :

I’ve set the theme of Paper Piecing (NOT Piercing). You can follow either the sketch or theme or both. You could be the lucky winner of a voucher to spend at Willow Designs too! As well as a winner (chosen randomly) there will be a hand picked Top 3 and they will receive a super cute badge for their blog.Don’t forget to stop by the challenge site and check out my fellow DT’s beautiful creations.A truly inspirational bunch.

For my card I’ve used Walter in a pom pom hat clear stamp from Willow Designs. He’s been coloured with ProMarkers and his hat has been paper pieced,of course! The pom poms have been given the fluffy treatment with some Flower Soft.I die cut a holly wreath, picking out the berries with Liquid Pearls, and added some leaves and berries cut from the same set.I used a Spellbinders Edgeabilities die on the green card and added a border strip of the same paper as his hat.The backing paper has been edged using a punch. The sentiment is part of a freebie Christmas stamp set from Cardmaking and Papercraft magazine.
