Lacy elegance

Lavender and Lace is the theme over at Digi Doodle Shop Challenges this week. Please take a look at the challenge blog for details on how to play along and be in the chance to win a $10 Gift Certificate to spend at Digi Doodle Shop.Don’t forget to check out the beautiful DT work while you’re there.

Don’t forget to check my sidebar for this months specials over at the store.

I’ve used the elegant Hat & Girl – Vintage from Digi Doodle Shop and coloured it with Copic Ciao and Sketch markers.I cut the frame from Marianne Designs Rectangle Frame Set,added a vellum mat and layered it onto a deeper shade of card using foam tape. After adding the lace I gave her some shape and dimension with Pinflair Glue Gel.The swirl and flowers were cut using the same Marianne set.Two sizes of Crafts Too Gems were added for the finishing touch.

Gorgeous! It’s got a real vintage feel without being in ‘traditional’ vintage dark colours.

Thanks for joining us at One Stitch at a Time this week, and good luck.
