The challenge at Craft Your Passion this week is Grin and Bear It.We have the fabulous the fabulous Purple Panda Designs as our sponsor.Stop by for the full details and don’t forget to take a look at the DT and GDT’s wonderful work.
The DT were lucky to choose from a selection of bear images from Purple Panda Designs.I chose the cute Bearey Springy to work with. He’s been coloured with Promarkers. This is my first attempt at making a swing card.It was actually surprisingly easy.I managed to follow a tutorial I found on You Tube while balancing my paper trimmer on my lap whilst measuring and cutting !! The card I used has a lovely pearlescent finish as well as being textured.I mounted a frame, stamped with a greeting, from the same paper pack on the reverse side of the image.
These cards are a lot of fun to make.Supplies : Image : Bearey Springy by Purple Panda Designs Sentiment : Personal Impressions Mixed Sentiments clear stamp set Mediums : Promarkers,Jet Black Archival Ink Pad, Black fine liner pen for drawing in springy stems on punched flowers Papers & Card : DP Freebie My Minds Eye paper pad from past issue of Cardmaking and Papercraft magazine, cardstock from my stash Tools : Fiskars Euro Personal Paper Trimmer 30 cm,Martha Stewart Stamp and Punch Set Flower,Circle Plier Punch Embellishments : Mini buttons
