Hats Crafty!

At Craft Your Passion there’s a colour challenge going on.We’d love to see your ORANGE PURPLE BLACK creations – it doesn’t even have to be Halloween either! So click on the link to play along, find more details and take a look at the DT’s beautiful work! And don’t forget there’s a prize for one lucky person!

I decided to make a non-Halloween card using the colours. This Hat Dots image from CoCo Dingo Didgital Stamps just seemed ideal for this.I used Promarkers to add shading and depth and decoupaged just the bow for more dimension.I did use an Orange Atyou Spica Copic on the bow and dots but it doesn’t show up in the pic.The gems were originally lilac and were too pale so I coloured them with Plum Promarker.I also thought the Cuttlebug Seeing Spots embossing folder would be pretty appropriate too.

Supplies :
Image : Hat Dots from CoCo Dingo Digital Stamps
Sentiment:Personal Impressions Cute Character Set 2
Mediums :Promarkers,Atyou Spica Copic,Dusty Concord Distress Ink
Card & Paper : K & Co DP,Dovecraft Designer Paper Pack,Black card from stash
Tools : X-Cut guillotine,Cuttlebug Seeing Spots embossing folder,Classic Oval and Scalloped Oval Nestabilities,Big Shot
Embellishments : Papermania gems coloured with Promarker

Challenges this card is for :

Baby Bud Designs : Fall/Halloween
Bunny Zoe’s Crafts : Autumn Love
The Sisterhood Of Crafters : All things known as BLING
Inktegrity : Halloween or Fall
Inky Impressions : Anything Goes
Pixie Dust Studios : Fall into Fall
Stampin’ B’s : Fall colours
Stampin For The Weekend : Halloween/Fall
Fresh Brewed : Purple and Black
Scrap-Creations : Make It 3-D (apart from the decoupaged bow this has a lot of layers on foam tape tho’ it doesn’t show too well.I’d also like to think my shading makes the image look 3-D)
