Hello Blossom!

The challenge at Passion for ProMarkers is Pastel Green and Blossom. The image is a freebie by  Becca Kay Designs. Most of the image has been coloured with the colours set in the challenge.I’ve just added Ivory and Blush for the skin tones,Cinnamon for the hair and Satin on her socks. The Nestabilities Labels 4 has also been edged in the Pastel Green pen and layered onto a Classic Oval. The papers are K & Co and the card is Papermania Textured. The fabric flowers are some I bought from Poundland and pulled the layers apart. They were white originally but I used the Pastel Green Promarker to colour co-ordinate them.Buttons have been added to the centres. The strip down the side has had Fiskars Scallop Sentiment punch used on it.All corners have been punched with Lip Pattern corner punch.

My hearts all a flutter!

Don’t you just love it when you make one card that can fit into so many challenges.Even if it is  inadvertently.

Originally this was an entry for Caardvarks ‘Red and hearts’ challenge this also qualifies for:

Secret Crafter Saturday Challenge: ‘Hearts’

EasyCraft Projects Challenges: ‘Create something with a Valentines theme for a man’

By the Cute and Girly: ‘Love’

Die Cut Dreams: ‘Red and black with love’

I made this card using the free stamp designed for February’s issue of Craft Stamper magazine by Glenda Waterworth.I coloured it using Promarkers with the Blender around the edges. The paper is another freebie, this time from issue 75 of Cardmaking and Papercraft magazine. The button was already printed onto the gingham heart so to make it more realistic I covered it in Glossy Accents followed by Red Promarker.I pierced two holes with a pokey tool and tied a bow with some thread.I decorated the top with a length of grossgrain ribbon. It was all simply layered up on black and red card from my stash and I used a corner rounder punch on the top corners only.

I think this colour-combo is so classy and classic.I intend to give this card to my DH for Valentine’s Day.
